Took me a while to appreciate the financial hole placing calls had turned into. Adding up the cents had me screaming. The positive side of these tough times is that it has got me putting on my thinking cap before making financial decisions no matter how insignificant.

Have got this wooden box I made where I flick coins into. I intended using it to teach my kids the habit of savings. We have had the box for two years now. Sometime soon we will be opening it. My family and I can’t wait to see how much the coins have amounted to. Little drops sure do make mighty oceans

These days, I go the extra mile before sending appliances to the workshop. I sniff round checking out the fault. You never can tell, the fault may never be worth the trip to the repairer. May be it is the present times, but I have been deriving satisfaction from doing this. For the budget angle, I am always struggling with that. It is easier said than done, you know.
