Woe to you forgetful man;
Woe to your offspring.
Pursuer of the fleeing world;
Where are your bounties?
Ever took a walk to the cemetery?
Just returned; went to bury my neighbor.
He requested for my sandals.
Made him a promise;
‘I will give it to you soon.’
Selfishly, I held on to it.
Now, he is gone.
Gone for eternity.
We went with his worldly possessions.
In his shallow grave, we flung him;
Six-foot grave, my foot.
Even his old caftan was not spared.
Everything, we brought back to inherit.
Definitely, his final drive is to his Lord.
Him and his deeds alone.
With tears in our eyes, we fled him.
Crocodile tears, crocodile love.

That's an interesting poem.....
Thanks for stopping by my blog and yes, the world is full of hate, but why, I keep asking myself.
It's horrible and some just don't seem to want to stop ; (
Cheers!
You have got a great outlay on your blog. Your content is mind blowing. Keep all the good job. That map on the cup of tea says it all. We are all connected; Jews, Muslims, Christians, atheists. If He had wanted, God would have made us of one creed, race and culture. Our diversity should be a source of inspiration. But lol, it is of hopelessness and grief.
Fine poem there. We all have a date with death. For Jews, Muslims, Xtians and Atheists, I doubt if the world will ever know peace with these sets of humans
beautiful. hope to read more from you.
