• Get a good night sleep before you board a plane.
• Eat a light, well balanced meal before you travel.
• Create enough time to accommodate unforeseen delay on your way to the airport.
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes, which can easily be slipped on or off during flight.
• If you are prone to motion sickness, focus on one fixed object during take-off or landing.
• To avoid dryness in your throat and nose while on board, keep away from caffeine, alcohol and nicotine.
• Keep your blood circulation going, by standing up and walking on the aisle.
• When you have a problem on-board, take a deep breathe in, stay calm and accept that there are things in life you can not change.

Is there any exercises I can do while sitting on my seat on board a plane?
Did you watch the flying car on CNN? Soon we will all be flying solo. I have placed an order for one, what about you?
Boarding a plane is not that a big deal, why are you making it look like it is? My friend who just arrived from Cape town in South Africa said he did'nt use his seat belt through out the jurney.
Adigun, try this out : Sit with your feet on the ground, back supported against your chair. Take a deep breathe in, raise your shoulders towards your ears and hold them raised for a few seconds. Then slowly breathe out and drop the shoulders. Repeat this several times. Place your left hand on your right shoulder and squeeze gently. Do this down the right arm to the elbow. Place your right hand on your left shoulder and repeat the exercises. Hope it works for you.
Am as excited as Mahmud. The possibilities are that soon we will all be flying pilots.
