Tips for achieving job satisfaction

· Become more self aware. Learn about your abilities, preferences and interests and be prepared to articulate where you can best contribute.
· Make a list of what is contributing to your satisfaction or dissatisfaction. Take the time to get at the root of what isn’t working.
· Learn how to talk with your manager about what types of projects you enjoy.
· Also, share your thoughts about what you don’t enjoy and why.
· By understanding what you want, and taking the opportunity to influence your manager, you are more likely to gain access to projects that are attractive to you.
· Find a mentor in the organization to help you find opportunities to contribute that closely fit your work profile.

Security tips

· Do not encourage your security guard or domestic servants to harbour strangers. They could be thieves studying your premises.
· If you are driving and suddenly discover that a particular vehicle is tracking you, drive straight to the nearest police station rather than driving to your home.
· Avoid offers of drinks, fruits and food from strangers. You can easily be drugged from it.
· Avoid spending nights with free women.
· If you have air conditioners installed, make sure they cannot be removed from outside, thus creating entry space for thieves.
· Remove any object which can assist criminals enter your house, such as ladder.
· Beware of young men well dressed in suit with brief cases. They could be armed robbers hiding their weapons in their brief cases.
· Never board a taxi filled with young men. They could be robbers.
· Save police hotlines on your phone. Call such hotlines when you are in distress.
